I'm going to confess right off the bat that I do not understand the title
of this show . I spent the first couple of numbers trying to figure it
out, and then realized that it really doesn't matter. You're having too
much fun to worry about coherent themes. THE MONEY SHOT
takes songs from the Broadway stage, the Hollywood screen, and the
Disco dance floor, turns them on their ears, and presents them in ways
that probably never crossed the minds of their composers. Camp and
comedy run rampant along with melodramatic skits and a few
straight-from-the-heart renditions. Ranging from the 1920-1980
musical eras, the harmony of "In The Mood" blends just fine with a
"Death By Disco" medley because this show is wild and wacky. The
high energy and fun-loving spirit of the cast, the sophisticated tongue
-in-cheek choreography, and the delightful insanity of it all make THE
MONEY SHOT pay off. It's a show you'll be glad you attended.
