JEFFREY MILLER in I Love To Sing
Musical Director - DAVID BRUNETTI
Reviewed February 24, 2003
JEFFREY MILLER has the complete cabaret package - a multi-range
tenor voice with an endearing quiver, a sincere and ardent
delivery, and a stage presence that just won't quit. Equally
comfortable with opera, standards, and musical comedy, he offers up
a versatile program in his show "I Love To Sing" at Judy's Chelsea
Supper Club. And if that's not enough diversity, he'll throw in a
little Italian (a respectable rendition of "Time To Say Goodbye"),
Spanish ("Guitarra Guajira"), and French ("Les Feuilles
Mortes/Autumn Leaves") for good measure. Songs like "I Have
Dreamed," "Listen To My Heart," and a medley of "Let It Be/Bridge
Over Troubled Water" prove to be a perfect match for his
impassioned voice. You'll easily forgive a few missed notes and
forgotten lyrics because Miller is so thoroughly entertaining and
charming. Until his next show, you can experience JEFFREY MILLER
